My Formentera Apartment sleeps four in a two bedroom ground floor apartment on the outskirts of Es Pujols. It comprises kitchen, lounge diner & tranquil garden with barbecue backing onto woodlands.Two mins walk to the beach or to the resort centre.
Often described as the last unspoilt Mediterranean Island, Formentera is a small, generally flat island, 30 minutes ferry ride from Ibiza.
The main attraction is the beaches - arguably the best in the Mediterranean; fine white sand and crystal clear water. If you're looking for a relaxing, beach holiday you have found a real paradise and this rental apartment is ideally placed to take advantage of it. My Formentera apartment is just two minutes walk from the nearest beach and none of the beaches are more than about 15 minutes away by car. It is two mins walk to the resort centre yet is in a really quiet location with a peaceful garden that backs onto woodlands.
On Formentera accommodation is mainly in self catering apartments as there are few hotels, but there are plenty of restaurants if you don't wish to cook.
Some beaches offer water sports such as wind surfing and have sunbeds and umbrellas for hire. Others are small coves which are completely uncommercialised and you may have to walk a hundred yards or so to the nearest beach bar.
Many beaches may be considered naturist beaches but on Formentera, there is no obligation to go nude; quite simply, swimming costumes are considered optional, so most people just go to the beach they like best, irrespective of whether they wish to wear a costume or not. However, costumes should always be worn in the immediate vicinity of a beach bar or restaurant.
